Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums in Dallas, Texas, today is Monday, January 8, 2024. It’s raining like a beast outside. And now, they are predicting snow next Monday. But that is not why I am posting.
I am just home from my appointment with my neurologist where I got my MRI results translated into something I understood. First, thanks to Christopher Longoria for going with me. Second - the GOOD NEWS. No new disease progression and no new lesions - and No New Medicine unless the infectious disease doctor says I need some to clear up this last shingle!
I need to take the flu shot and pneumonia shot but hold off on the shingles shots until I am completely healed. I have to retake my MRI in three months and I am OK with that and I see my neurologist again in four months. She is completely OK with my semaglutide injections every week. I start those tomorrow.
So - a great report (I think). It’s like a weight off my shoulders. Thank you, possums, for all of your thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and good juju you sent my way!
