From the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas, it’s Friday eve. Today is Thursday, January 5, 2023. It’s going to be a sunny day in Dallas with a high of 61.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Good Morning, Possums and Happy Thursday. We are soooo close to the weekend. I don’t care what anyone says, four-day work-weeks are the longest.
While I am not actually working right now, I am also not sitting around eating bon bons and watching the View in my housecoat and bunny slippers. Although, if I am not at an appointment, I do make time for TPIR (The Price is Right) - and there is a special place in hell for anyone who bids $1 over someone else to get on stage.
Each day this week has included a trip to the hospital and today is no exception. Today, I meet with my neurologist and review results from labs, redo any labs that came back with questionable results and adjust my medication (if necessary). The remainder of my lab work from the Mayo Clinic should be back as well. Quite frankly, I am not worried about any of that. If anything came back ‘hinky’ my neurologist would have called me about it already - that’s just how wonderful she is and I am thankful for it.
There may be a post-neurological appointment cocktail-related stop with friends on the way home. I have a vacation (long weekend) idea I want to run by some friends to see if anyone is interested. More on that later.
Anyhoozle, I need coffee - lots and lots and lots of coffee. What are your plans today?
