Good Morning, Possums and Happy Wednesday and Happy Hump Day. We have made it half way through the week.
PLEX went well, although it started off a little rough. The port was worked just fine. No issues there. But the return line that goes in my left arm, well, let’s just say I think my veins enjoyed three weeks of NOT being tapped into and they went into hiding. Several attempts were made to lock one down but they had to call in the big guns - after my arm resembled a colander. One of the veins in my left arm finally surrendered so we could begin the procedure.
The rest of my day was spent sleeping on and off. I have not had PLEX in four weeks and I forgot how much it wipes me out.
Today is bloodwork Wednesday. Several vials of my blood are needed to check this level and that level, lymphocytes and many other things I do not understand.
At some point I need to give my little indoor garden some love and attention. Several of my plants have not fared well in my month-long absence. Who kills succulents? Me! How do I kill succulents? It’s a gift. Most of my orchids are alive and the leaves are green and healthy, but they need some time to sleep before producing any blossoms. I will evaluate the situation this spring before replacing any of them with another orchid or maybe something different.
Alright - I need coffee. Lots and lots and lots of coffee.
