Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Tuesday, August 9. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Dallas today with a high of 98 degrees and a not-quite-as-pitiful chance of rain today as it was yesterday.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Happy Tuesday! Well, we made it past Monday and that’s a good thing. Today, the rarest of opportunities presents itself to me. My boss (whom I love) is taking today off and I have no meetings. I have the opportunity to get a great deal completed and off my desk today. At least, that’s my intention. (This really could go either way so let’s see how it plays out).
I need to plan my day and tackle the things I don’t want to do / least enjoyable things first. Unfortunately, my mind is already thinking about the weekend ahead. But at least I have identified that distraction and have a better chance of ignoring it altogether.
