Happy Wednesday and Happy Hump Day - we made it half way through the week. What treat we had yesterday afternoon - some decent thunder and about a teaspoon of rain (where I am). Maybe we will have a better chance today.
Yesterday was not quite as productive as I had hoped (good intentions and all) so I hope today is better. I was grappling (in my head) with having someone in my house helping me a few days a week - accepting that is what I need and whatnot. I think I have come to terms with it in my head. I have selected / formed my interviewing committee, now we need to start going through profiles. I hope to have someone hired by early-to-mid September.
It’s nice to have a plan (of sorts) in place, so now I can focus on what really matters…The Real Housewives of Dubai; tonight at 8pm Central Time. The insults, the yelling, the cat fights, the pettiness - oh why couldn’t the Real Housewives of Dallas get their sh*t together (although I hear they may be returning) and be as entertaining as Dubai. I actually met a few of the Dallas Housewives and while it was delightful to meet them, Dallas….we can do better.
Lots of work to do today, and a former co-worker (we have worked together at two companies) is bringing lunch over.
