Happy Monday! It’s time to kick off another work week and there’s plenty to do. I am going into this week rested and relaxed after a weekend of scrubbing, trimming, massaging, cutting, filing, waxing and exfoliating…..and napping! If possible, everyone should enjoy a weekend like that at least once.
I did two things yesterday I never thought I would do:
#1 - I ordered Tattoo Numbing Cream from Amazon. I have this Lidocaine cream from the hospital I have to slather on my port and my arm every Friday before they hook me up to that slurpee machine. If I do not do it at least an hour before the procedure begins, I will cuss at the top of my lungs when those needles go in. So, I am almost out of it and my prescription is overdue since June - supply chain issues - so my nurse on Friday tells to go on Amazon and order Tattoo Numbing Cream - who knew?
#2 - I started looking online for a personal assistant. I need to hire someone to run errands, do some light shopping, housekeeping and meal prep - ten to fifteen hours a week. OK, it’s not really a personal assistant, it’s Home Health Care. Multiple Sclerosis has made it perfectly clear I am at the point where I need some assistance here and there. However, I shall refer to him/her/them as my personal assistant….with a minor in Home Health Care.
Lots to do at work today too so I better get crack’in. What’s on your schedule today?
