My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 061222

Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Sunday, June 12. It’s going to be a sunny, sweltering day in Big D with a high of 104. I’m staying inside.
Happy Birthday to:
No post yesterday. Still trying to figure out MS and how to best deal with it - Best Practices, if you will. SPOILER ALERT: It’s Impossible.
Friday Morning, I was exhausted from having all of the life sucked out of me the previous evening by that horrific production of Oklahoma. I felt a little run down - like I was taking on a cold or something. Not having much of an immune system, it is quite possible I could have picked something up at the theater since there was no mask requirement (even though I was wearing mine).
As Friday progressed I became more achy, Saturday when I woke up, my body ached - every single muscle hurt. But as the day progressed, I started feeling better and things were improving, except for my walking. It must have been a 24 hour thing. I need to stay bug free before chemotherapy on Thursday. That is going to destroy my immune system.
Oh the fun times you can have with Multiple Sclerosis.
Not much on my calendar today - just church and my softball team, The TITANS, are having a Happy Hour/Fundraiser supporting Camp Esperanza - summer camp for kids with cancer. I wish I could go but that is probably not a smart idea. But you should. Titans events are always fun AND it supports Camp Esperanza. So go - and then tell me how it is/was.
It’s 4:26am and I woke up wanting pizza. Who does that?
Anyhoozle - what’s on your schedule today?
I wish you and everyone around you a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of nice people. If you can’t find one, be one!
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
