Time to kick off another work week. I feel pretty bad about being out of commission last week even though it was beyond my control. My big project at work seems to be carrying on - other people have jumped in to pick up some pieces to help move it across the finish line (when we get there on July 11). I am lucky to have the team I work with.
I know there was a panic attack / meltdown at work on Friday but everyone involved was appropriately talked off the ledge. They have never been through this - specifically this particular project - and they are completely unaware of how it has worked in the past. This is my 15th year with it and I think I am just used to it. It does not phase me like it once did.
Still waiting on biopsy results. I know - It’s Monday at 9am (my time) and the biopsy was just done on Friday afternoon, but it is a little nerve-racking waiting to see if you have the Big C or not.
Whether I have it or not, it is NOT going to affect this project at work. It is NOT going to keep me from my NYC vaycay. And more/most importantly, it is NOT going to stop the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DUBAI from coming on - Wednesdays at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central. I am living for Wednesday night - LMAO
Allow yourself to be sucked into this completely mindless and useless television show about money, greed, opulence, selfishness, fashion, pretension and catfights. I can hear the decadence calling.
Just a few meetings for me today and PLEX at 1pm.
