Yesterday’s PLEX went very much better than Wednesday. I had some magic cream with Lidocaine/Prilocaine to slather on my skin over the port and over my arm where the IV goes and I barely felt a thing. Funny story - NOBODY AT THE HOSPITAL TOLD ME ABOUT THIS! However, my neurologist was quick to send in a prescription for me. Other than that, it was business as usual. My clinic family all came by to see me (which was nice) and Shannon Brown and Timothy Thomas were there for support as well. All in all, a much more pleasant experience than the time before.
So, it was decided that I will go twice for PLEX next week for a total of five times and then it’s back to once a week. We are working hard to get me back to my baseline.
No plans for me today. I just need to get my prescriptions and that’s it. I know….pretty glamorous.
