HAPPY HUMP DAY! We made it half way through the week. I feel like I have slept through most of it (even though I worked a half day yesterday and attended (virtually) a board meeting last night).
All of this medical stuff (beginning with the MRI last week) is starting to take its toll on me - add on work stress (and there is plenty of that to go around) and uuuggghhh. As I figured, we were not able to use my new port yesterday. It has got to heal a bit first. I doubt we will today either, so I shall slather both of my arms up with Lidocaine/Prilocaine cream so I will feel absolutely nothing.
Today is day #2 of 3 of my acute round of PLEX. The needles that go in my arms are quite painful. And then, I can’t move. I have to lie there for three hours watching the blood come out of my left arm and come back into my body with clean, fresh plasma in my right arm. It's riveting!
It got very dark outside yesterday. I thought we were going to get a good thunderstorm. Sadly, we got NOTHING! It was all big meteorological tease.
So, today is starting off with PLEX in a few hours, followed by meetings all afternoon. And finally, we (Shannon, Tim, SAP and I) have tickets to the Broadway touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar. I am going to try my best to make it - going to have to play this one by ear.
