Happy Birthday to:
Xavier Daniels
Yesterday is almost a complete blur. I left for the hospital at 6:30am. Got taken to my room, put on that lovely ensemble I posted a pic of, watched the first hour of TODAY and the rest is a blur. My friend, Carol Margo Stanners, picked me up and brought me home and I slept on and off for the rest of the day!
I did, however, wake up enough to read a note from my neurologist. The plan this week is to do three rounds of PLEX - today, tomorrow and Friday. If that does not calm the active lesions down, we will hit them with some high-octane steroids. (That’s sure to deliver a few good mood swings here and there. My apologies ahead of time if you are a victim to one of them). If that does not work…well…to be continued.
We cannot use my new port today so they will have to use a vein in each arm. It’s not ideal or the preferred way to PLEX and I can’t move for three hours, so this should be fun.
If I think my body is tired now (and I do) - by Friday it will be worn out! No worries - just some of the joys and blessings MS has bestowed upon me.
What’s on your schedule today?
Anyhoozle, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Make it a great day and do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. Be one of them! And as always:
...wear a mask (when appropriate)
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
