My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 040522

Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Tuesday, April 5. It’s going to be a sunny day today with a high in the 80s. Thunderstorms ripped through here last night and unfortunately caused some damage and knocked out some power across the city.

Happy Birthday to:

Eric Peay

99 days! That’s how long it is until my birthday vacation. I am ready to go, although I really cannot complain. Working in this particular industry, I get several holidays many do not. And working for my employer for nearly 14 years (and given my position), I receive my fair share of paid time off.

The holidays are spread throughout the year with the exception of the time between President’s Day and Memorial Day…..that’s the dead zone….the longest time between days off…..98 days….and we are dead in the middle of it.

As petty as it sounds, I know I could take a day or a few days off, but that’s not the same as having day off.  Oh well, I guess I’ll have to put on my big boy pants, suck it up and deal with it . There’s plenty to keep me busy until Memorial Day and my vacation.

Just a few things on my calendar today so I should be able to get some work done. My neuropathy has tamed itself a bit and I am back to using my walker in my casa. Now, we just wait and see what my MRI on Thursday reveals.

I’m still trying to get out of jury duty tomorrow! UUUGGGHHH!!!

Thank you Ernie Wright and Laura Wright for your donation. My new total raised for the 2022 Dallas MS Walk is $13,150!

Has anyone finished Season 2 of Bridgerton? What did you think? If you are looking for something to watch, I suggest:

Hulu: The Drop Out
Prime: Picard
Netflix: Inventing Anna
HBO Max: Julia (my newest obsession)

Anyhoozle, it’s (past) time to get this day started. I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day.

Make it a great day and do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. Be one of them! And as always:

...wear a mask (when appropriate)
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.

Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
