I enjoyed a little downtime yesterday and Saturday as well. It was nice to have no plans and just relax for a bit.
My plans have changed for today. I am not getting my port. Long story short - they don’t have the port I need at the facility where I was being sent, so I am going to the location down here where I live. I will call and schedule that shortly. It would be great if they could do it tomorrow, but I think that is probably too much to ask for. The rest of my appointments and procedures for the week remain the same.
I simply cannot imagine being diagnosed with MS in my twenties (when most diagnoses occur) and fighting and living with it - relapses and symptoms - for the rest of my life. Being diagnosed at 54 and living with it for almost 3 years has kicked my ass.
But the fight is not over! There will be no rolling over and surrendering. No white flags! No saying ‘uncle.’ While there is no cure, I still have to find a way to live with it and manage it. So far I have not had any luck with that! I MUST DO BETTER!
Anyhoozle, it’s time to get this week started. I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day.
