Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Thursday, February 3.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Winter has arrived in Dallas. We have seen a 52 degree drop in temperature in the last 36 hours - from 73 degrees to 21 degrees (with windchill, it feels like 11 degrees - weatherman just said so). The roads are covered in nothing but ice - an inch or two - and snow is beginning to fall. It is going to snow until around 12pm/1pm.
The high temperature tomorrow is 29 degrees. It will not get above freezing until Saturday, so it looks like most people will be home for the next few days. I still have power (I’m as surprised as you are).
PLEX went well yesterday. I am glad they called me in early, although even with PLEX yesterday and Botox on Monday, those two are no match for the cold weather and MS. My legs are a bit stiff but I am hopeful the effects of both procedures will still be felt/seen as it warms up.
Still, it is Friday Eve and I have work to do - four meetings but no volunteering at the clinic. They notified us the clinic would be closed today.
What’s on your schedule today?
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
