Good Morning, Dearest Gentle Possums. Happy Saturday and Happy Weekend. Time to get started with weekend ‘stuff’.
GENERAL UPDATE
It has been quite the week, here, at the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere at Turtle Creek Condominiums.
MS Warriors pay close attention!!
First, thank you all for the birthday wishes you sent yesterday. Your kind words healed my soul. Thank you so much. I felt all the love.
Second, remember that second shingles shot I got on Tuesday at 10:15am? Remember I was worried about it? I was worried for a very good reason. By 5:00pm Tuesday evening, both of my legs were getting stiff and difficult to move. By 10pm, I was shivering and shaking like it was 32 degrees below zero.
I woke up at 1am (Wednesday morning) and I couldn’t roll over at all. I was stuck in my bed. I finally did manage to get into my chair and move to my recliner where I stayed until Thursday Morning at 10am. My legs were done for. Neither one of them would do what my brain was telling them to do. Also, my stomach was churning, I was dehydrated and my vision was a complete blur- similar to looking through a piece of wax paper.
I had my phone so I was able to call and get home heath to send someone to stay with me on Wednesday night.
Thursday around 3pm, my stomach wasn’t doing cartwheels so much as an olympic gymnasts routine on repeat. However, I could finally start to move my feet and ankles - but but just barely and later that afternoon both legs were receiving moving instructions, but they still had other plans. Two of my friends brought dinner over and one stayed the night.
Friday, my birthday, I woke up and could see a great deal better and my legs were not being complete assholes. Another friend came over to work and keep me company and by 1pm I was in the shower (possums, I was ripe) and getting dressed. Once I got showered and dressed, I felt about 80% back to baseline. So I did what anyone in my shoes would do. I went out and had a few birthday cocktails withy friends and it was great.
Tuesday through Thursday, I wanted to die. It was painful and and very isolating. But once things started to improve, it got smooch better. I still do not have an appetite, but it will return.

I am still improving but it will be a cold day in hell before I take another vaccine unless it cures MS.

Still waiting on a decision on the Supplemental SS. I am supposed to find out into weeks.
