Good Morning, Dearest Gentle Possums and happy Monday. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and you are tackling this week like nobody’s business. I am without ask assistant this week. Mine is on vacation. I could have gotten a replacement, but there is no replacing Viola. We have a routine, she knows when I need help and………..she loves the REAL HOUSEWIVES of DUBAI so we watch that together on Thurdays.
Viola has my meals prepared and ready. I just need to heat them up and I have no medical appointments this week so I think I am in good shape. For three days last week, I wanted to die. But this week, I think I am pretty good.
On another note, Summer television sucks! Even though there are hundreds of channels and dozens of streaming platforms, it still sucks -especially daytime tv). Even the commercials for medicare, car rental and prescription drugs (a few of which I am on)drive me crazy. Especially the commercial(s) for Jardiance.
First, there was just the one commercial with the latino woman in the tragic yellow dress that made her look twice as big as she was. The have since made commercials using the same song but with an African-American male and a caucasian female (aka - a black man and a white woman). And I have to say… they are just as awful as the fist one.
Even the news….it’s either predictable or mind-numbing. Granted, I do not spend all day every day in front of the television, on the occasional day that MS Fatigue (it’s a thing -look it up) has set in and decided I am not doing anything, finding something to watch can be a chore.
But I digress…
Put on some decent programming.
GENERAL UPDATE
It was a quiet weekend, here, at the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere at Turtle Creek Condominiums. Resting and getting my strength back from the prior week was priority #1 and I think I am back to 100%.

Planning for Season TWO is under way and will return the week of September 9.

MEDICALLY SPEAKING
I’m five by five (back to baseline).
SOCIAL SECURITY
Still waiting on a decision on the Supplemental SS. I am supposed to find out in two weeks.
