My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 060324

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

LIKE & SHARE THIS POST, PLEASE!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere at Turtle Creek Condominiums in Dallas, Texas, today is Sunday, June 2, 2024. It’s going to be a cloudy day with a high of 87 degrees.

Happy Birthday to:

Brian Dean Davis

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Sunday. Well, that weekend has come and gone. I’m not sure we even had one. No matter. Time to prepare for the week ahead.

I finally got out of the house on Friday for a bit and enjoyed the sun and all its glory (short-lived as it was). It was cloudy and rainy yesterday. But that’s OK. I was fighting a little MS fatigue, well, I was not fighting it so-much-as I succumbed to it’s enticing lure - LOL.

I received an email from the airline informing me that my fight home had been changed. I hate when they do that. But it’s OK. While I want to be home for mom’s birthday (and I will) I completely neglected to check my calendar for other commitments and appointments I had here. I blame 'MS Cog Fog' (it's a thing - google it). Needless to say, I think I have found two good weeks where I can be at home without missing any (necessary) treatments or commitments.

In one more week, the Social Security Administration will have had my file/case to review for 14 months. The progress meter online (when I check) says the review is 85% complete. I know they are busy and I am Not their only client/customer - but what a downer.

I have been and shall be patient. I have a few things to look forward to - #1) going home for two weeks, #2) The Real Housewives of Dubai begins TONIGHT and not next Sunday as I thought and #3) The reason for my next trip to NYC has presented itself - Audra McDonald (6-time Tony Winner) will be starring in “Gypsy” beginning this Fall. Judy Kuhn is still my #1 and my Queen (and Bestie) but Audra is #2.

GENERAL UPDATE

Battling fatigue, but feeling good and getting ready for the week ahead.

SOCIAL SECURITY

SSA Case Status - 85% Complete
Supplemental SSA - 77% Complete

KANKLE NEWS

I have two normal feet thanks to my knee-high compression socks.

OK Possums, that’s it for today. Time for me to get some things done.

Anyhoozle, that’s all I have for today. What’s on your calendar? I hope you all have a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!

To all of my fellow MS Warriors, keep fighting the good fight.

And to all MS Warrior Supporters, Thank You! Your support means everything.

Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
