Good Afternoon, Possums and Happy Sunday. I hope your weekend has been enjoyable. I had my pneumonia vaccine yesterday. My entire arm hurts today. It’s time to start thinking about the week ahead. My week ahead is full of meetings and medical appointments and I am OK with that. I am staying busy with things I enjoy doing and giving back to the community at the same time. I still think about going back to work but in my heart I know that I can’t.
I suppose I am still trying to find my place in this new chapter of my life. The calendars, lists and schedules are great - and I do love them and love making them - but they aren’t everything (don’t tell anyone I said that). I’m still searching for something. What? I have no idea. Maybe I am still clinging on to things I did before MS that I am no longer able to do. Or maybe I just haven’t figured out a way to do them after MS (for Shannon Brown: Before the disease and After the disease).
But who has time to figure it all out with all of the meetings, medical appointments and podcast recordings and scheduling? I need an assistant. Wait! I have two.
Never mind!
So this week I have Botox, Record Podcast episode #3, semaglutide injection, OT, PT, a Board committee meeting (Spark Tank), an Executive Board meeting (I was just appointed to the Executive Board of the Irving Schools Foundation) - all culminating with my first shingles vaccine on Saturday….and possibly a cocktail or two.
