Good Morning, Possums and Happy Thursday day and Happy Friday Eve. The weekend is fast-approaching.
FAVOR: Facebook/Meta is considering paying me for my content. Please Like and Share my post (especially Share). I am on a trial basis for a month. This would be a new revenue stream and since I can’t work a regular 9-5, this would be great. Thanks in advance.
The holidays are in full swing around the house today. I slept really well last night thanks to some cough medicine mom has. It’s delightful (not kidding). So I had plenty of energy for the activities filling todays agenda.
We have wrapped gifts this morning. I am/we are done with the exception of a few that will arrive within a week. But gimme a break, I didn’t start shopping until Monday/maybe Sunday. I still think am ahead of the curve.
We had a visit from my Sweet Angel, Clara, this morning as well. She stopped by for a few cookies and helped put the gifts under the tree. She’s still to young to get Santa Clause and everything attached to him. I think she would be just as happy if I gave her the remote control to the lights on my wheel chair (she has already enjoyed playing with it).
This afternoon, there’s some cook’in going on - “Fresh” sausage patties, “Fresh” county ham, spaghetti sauce, cookies, and Dad just took some chicken and chicken broth up to the church. The men’s club makes and sells chicken stew every year and it is the bom-diggity.
It’s bound to be wine-thirty after all of that is finished…although I should probably continue to iron out episode one of our podcast since it starts in a month.
