Good Morning, Possums and Happy Monday. I hope your week is off to a great start. I’m coming down from a New York City high. We had a wonderful trip and I can’t believe it is over.

On Thursday, day 1, we all got up early to catch a 6:30am flight. We were there in no time at all and hit the ground running. We had a late lunch at Joe Allen and then we had to get ready for our first show and meeting with Judy Kuhn.

As it slowly got dark in NYC, the city began to light up and come even more alive. As loud, chilly and bustling as it was, I felt warm and cozy. There were Christmas lights and holiday decorations on anything standing still but it was not overwhelming, at least to me. I was all in and ready to kick off the holiday season. And this is where it was going to happen.

The show we saw is/was off-broadway at Classic Stage Company and Judy had front row seats reserved for us. The show, “I Can Get It For You Wholesale”, was terrific. The musical is from the 40’s but the book has been updated. I thought it was going to be a little dated but I was entertained the entire time.

After the show was over, we went out into the lobby to wait for Judy. Within five minutes, there she was. She was so nice, gracious and she still remembers me. She took a few pictures with including one sporting an #AndyStriong bracelet which she is now the proud owner of (see pic below).

All in all, a terrific show and an amazing experience with Judy Kuhn. After a full day, we had all been up since at 3am, we went back to the hotel and crashed.

Day One gets five to of five stars. Day Two review tomorrow.

Today I need to do laundry and get ready to pack up again and head home for the holidays this Saturday. Also I have my Holiday MRI tomorrow morning at 8:30am.
