Good Morning, Possums and Happy Friday Eve. It’s almost the weekend and it’s one week until Thanksgiving. Can you believe it? I know a great many of my possums will be taking off all of next week and the rest will be biting their nails through Wednesday. Wednesday was always a ‘leave at noon’ day and Friday, we always worked from home. But I guess all that depends on where you work.
I have had two weeks to evaluate my needs/days that I need an assistant. I do not need one five days a week. I think three days a week will do nicely - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Also, I think a housekeeper every other week will suffice.
This is all adjustable with 24-hours notice should something arise, but I was beginning to feel a little suffocated with so many people coming and going. I cannot really test this new schedule out until January because of Thanksgiving next week, NYC the next and then I go home for the holidays the next - so January it is. Stay tuned…
That Ocrevus (treatment for MS) commercial continues to taunt me and mock me. The people in the commercial flash the peace sign the entire time. My way of coping is to flash them the peace sign right back….well half of the peace sign. I suppose I could change the channel and avoid the commercial entirely. But that would be the mature thing - the adult thing to do - take the high road. Well, my high road is under construction and I don’t feel like adulting. Besides, flashing, no, sharing my half of the peace sign is much more cathartic. LOL
