Good Morning, Possums. From the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas, Happy Friday and Happy FriYAY, HAPPY THREE-DAY WEEKEND and Happy Friday the 13th!
Today is also my last day of my leave from work. I shall return to the office on Tuesday. And I am actually going into the office. I have to plug into the network there since I have been gone for a long period of time. I am looking forward to seeing everyone, but I am not looking forward to going through my email. I can only imagine how many I have. This may take a while.
My neurologist has given me permission to go into work no more than two days a week and work from home the rest. So, I will mask / glove up those two days and go into the office. I just need to figure out which two days that is going to be.
I had physical therapy yesterday morning and for some reason that wiped me out. I slept a lot yesterday afternoon so today I need to be productive. Regardless, my legs are still pretty sore.
I called and cancelled my PLEX (plasma exchange) for next week and that was sad. After going there every week for nearly two years I am seriously going to miss those guys. I am sure I will go back at some point (given my track record), but for the foreseeable future, I am through with PLEX. I am keeping the port in my chest, but I am done with PLEX…..and chemo. But that one I WILL NOT MISS!
So much to do - not sure where to start. I wish life came with an instructional manual. Who am I kidding? Even if it did, I don’t think I (or too many people) would read it! I may thumb through it from time to time or put it under the wobbly leg of a chair or table, but I probably wouldn’t read it.
OK - I need to get crack’in and start my day……with coffee - lots and lots and lots of coffee.
