My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 120122

Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas.  Today is Thursday, December 1.  It’s going to be a mostly sunny day in Dallas, Texas with a high of 57 degrees.

Happy Birthday to:

Jon Rose

Tim Getts

Kaitlyn Frantz

Good Morning and Happy Holidays, Possums and Happy Friday Eve.     It’a almost Friday and almost the weekend.  Mom arrives tomorrow and then the rest of my “A Week of Stuff” will continue….and END.  We’ll also take some time to visit with friends and get me packed and ready to go home for a bit and prep for me to be gone from my casa for three weeks.

Three weeks of being away - three weeks of being on Creekwood - three weeks of my family and friends and three weeks of no needles, x-rays, chemotherapy, plasma exchanges, doctors appointments, hospitals and blood draws.  Being fabulous with a chronic disease takes up a great deal of time - LOL

It’s also three weeks away from my friends and family here, three weeks from my home and my life in Dallas - after 26 years here, I’ve grown somewhat fond of it (regardless of all the recent crap).

I hope they can enjoy three weeks of not toting me around, checking on me and whatnot.  My friends (and family) do a lot for me…they deserve a break  - which is why I need my assistant ASAP.  I am going to start going through more resumes today as well.  I have a few more applicants to  interview so maybe I can set up a few before I leave for the holidays.

But enough about that.  It’s December which means lots of celebrations and things to consider:

December 1 - National Christmas Lights Day

December 3  -International Day of People with Disabilities and                National Let’s Hug Day

December 7 - Pearl Harbor Day of Remembrance

December 9 - National Christmas Card Day

December 12 - National Poinsettia Day

December 13 - National Ice Cream Day

December 15 - National Cupcake Day and National Re-Gifting Day

December 17 - National Ugly Sweater Day

December 18 - First day of Hanukkah  and National Bake Cookies Day

December 23 - National Christmas Movie Marathon Day

December 24 - Christmas Eve

December 25  -Christmas Day

December 26 -Happy first Day of Kwanzaa

December 31 - New Years Eve

…and this is just to name a few.  But every day is a reason to celebrate - especially friends and family - not just in December.  That’s a year-long celebration.

So…What’s on your schedule today?

Anyhoozle, I wish you and everyone around you a SPECTACULAR  day.  Do everything today with kindness in your heart.  The world is full of kind people.  If you can’t find one, be one!  Peace, Love and Blessings to you all.  -AJ
