Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums! Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Saturday, November 12. It’s going to be a mostly sunny day today with a high of 5 degrees. Happy Birthday to: Janet Earl(May She Rest in Peace) Kathy Turner Nichols Peggy Love Dickson Richard Ysaguirre Sinclaire Freeman Good Morning, Possums. It’s a sunny, chilly day in Big D. I have nothing on my calendar today either. However, I can tell it’s the holiday season. Just turn on the television and it’s flooded with pre-Black Friday commercials and discount savings. The Rockafellar Center Christmas Tree is well on the way to Rockafellar Center to be decorated and festooned with millions of lights and decorations. And finally, both Hallmark channels and Lifetime are showing holiday-themed movies (24/7 for the most part). I received my next set of orders from my Neurologist yesterday. I am to go get my botox on Monday as scheduled - followed by bloodwork. Hopefully, my lymphocyte numbers will be up - high enough to get chemotherapy which is to be scheduled the week of Thanksgiving. It’s not the best possible outcome (or Thanksgiving) but this could (possibly, will) be my final round of chemotherapy and there is NO CHANCE of me eating too much on Thanksgiving day! LOL - no indeedy. I’ll be having Gatorade and chicken broth……and even that, well, you know what chemo can do! LMAO If I do have to have one more round, it will be the week before or immediately after Christmas. Obviously, I am praying this will be last round, but my prayers seem to be falling on deaf ears these days. My relationship with the big JC remains dysfunctional at best. Oh well, I shall take and conquer these things as they come. I am not the first, nor will I be the last, MS Warrior that has to handle these things…as much as they suck. These are cards I was dealt, this is my situation, this is far from over, I have the eye of the tiger….OMG this is beginning to sound like a Katy Perry or Madonna song -no original lyrics or a ghost of a thought or fresh idea - just a string of cliches…to coin a phrase! OK - I think I have gotten it all out of my system this morning. What are your plans today? Anyhoozle, I wish you and everyone around you a SPECTACULAR day.
