Good Afternoon, Possums. It’s gloomy day in Big D - a great day to stay inside under a warm blanket, throw something in the crockpot and binge-watch something.
I have been pretty busy getting things in order to go on leave from work…and doing medical stuff.
Lots of UPS and downs.
UPS - Yesterday, I met with my neurologist. If I am lucky, my chemo on Monday could be my LAST ONE. AND - I am going to start going to physical therapy at the hospital - YAY. Going forward, i will be taking an anti organ transplant rejection medication to keep my immune system suppressed and in check. Fingers-crossed something works.
Also…I am going to be offering my assistant job tomorrow. If accepted, I will announce whom it is.
DOWNS - I had PLEX this morning - all went well. However, I also had my pre-chemo blood work done and my lymphocyte levels are too low for chemo on Monday. I will have them redone next week and reschedule chemotherapy.
Another UP - I am going to see the Lincoln Center Theater (Broadway) touring production of My Fair Lady tonight. I saw it twice in NYC on Broadway a few years ago right on the second row and it was magical.
Another DOWN - COVID shot tomorrow :( - I hope it doesn’t rob me of the weekend.
I need to get back to work. What are your plans today?
