Good Morning, Possums. Happy Thursday and Happy Friday Eve. We are one day away from the weekend. We are also:
5 days away from midterm elections
8 days away from Veterans Day
21 Days away from Thanksgiving
22 days away from Black Friday
But more importantly, we are 3 days away from the Mega-Millions Jackpot. It is still up for grabs; 1.1 Billion dollars.
The chances of winning are slim, I know, but it is sure is fun to think what you would do with the money. Sadly, I already have it all planned out - in this order, I would:
Obviously, I would take care of my family first - they would want for nothing as would my Creekwood tribe and some extended non-Creekwood family / friends.
My churches - Trinity United Methodist Church and Oak Lawn United Methodist Church would be taken care of as well as my Dallas tribe/family/friends.
After volunteering in the Resource Center / Nelson Tebedo Health Clinic for 12 years, I would want to build them a new state -of-the-art clinic (still down here in the hood) - and a New Nurituion Center / Food Pantry.
And finally, I would get stem cell therapy/treatment and hopefully go into remission.
It’s lot of money so I think there is plenty to go around (after I take my cut). Yes, I know it’s silly to think I would win it, but like everyone else, I sure would like to. I can dream, can’t I?
