Happy Hump Day - we made it half way through the week. Not only that, I am officially 57 and I am officially on vacation. It’s my first vacation in three years. My first one in a chair too. Getting ready to hop in the shower and then head to the airport.
Before I start that whole process, I wanted to say, ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone for all of the birthday love I received yesterday. You certainly made me feel special, loved and incredibly blessed.
So, today’s agenda is pretty simple - fly to NYC, check into the hotel, probably take a nap (I know, but it’s probably going to happen) and then our first show tonight is a play (not a musical), “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” It picks up right where the movies leave off; 19 years after everything happened.
I have friends flying in from Colorado, Illinois and a few live in NYC and Jersey so it will be great to see them all and spend the weekend catching up. I am NOT taking my laptop, but fret you not, Possums. I shall do my level-best to post each morning as time permits. This time in NYC is different. I am not in a hurry to do a bazillion things.
