Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Sunday, July 10. It’s going to be a sunny day with a scorching hot temperature of 105 degrees.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Happy Sunday. Another brutal day in Dallas. The summer heat has become quite the school yard bully. It may not beat you up and take your lunch money, but stay out in it long enough and it WILL beat you down.
Yesterday was quite successful with errands and whatnot, but it was also exhausting. I may have had a decent afternoon nap. Just a few more errands to run today right after church and then……I have an MRI at 4pm. Yes, from 4pm to 6:30pm this afternoon / evening, I will be the guest of the UT Southwestern Imaging Department.
Apparently, my brain and spinal cord are a must-see. I’m told at my last MRI they were lit up like a Christmas tree / very active (not a good thing). I hope this time they are not nearly as active AND most importantly, I hope there are still no new lesions.
I also plan on having a decent afternoon nap today just as soon as I take the two or three valium my neurologist prescribed for me to get me through the MRI . I prefer not to be lucid in any way, shape or form. Obviously, I would rather have Ativan shot directly into my system through the IV I will be getting. I may have to have a chat with her next week at my appointment.
Three days until Vaycay 2022!
