It’s Tuesday. It’s difficult to get excited about a Tuesday (unless it’s your birthday). It’s not Monday, which is good. Monday (for me) is only good if it’s a holiday (Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, etc...). Tuesday is also not Wednesday (Hump Day), Thursday (Friday Eve) or Friday (nuf sed). However, I can be excited about this Tuesday because mom and dad will be here this afternoon. We will have time to get them settled in, have dinner and chat today. The real fun starts tomorrow.
Tomorrow is Plasma Exchange Hump Day (this week), followed by Chemo Thursday/Friday Eve, and then Wait-and-See Friday (wait and see how I tolerate the chemo)!! The first two days of their visit are at the hospital. Do I know how to have fun or what? Actually, several of the nurses at the UT Southwestern Spa and Resort have asked when they will be returning. (Are you surprised)?

Seriously, I am so glad they are going to be here with me. I know how lucky I am. Their love and support is everything to me and I know they bring with them the love and support of my family and friends back home. Also, I know my mama is probably gonna do some cook’in - not cooking - cook’in! LOL
Just a few meetings at work today and a Board Committee meeting tonight.
