Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Wing of the UT Southwestern Spa and Resort. Today is Thursday, June 2.
Happy Birthday to:
Brian Dean Davis
It’s a rainy morning at the spa but there is a new development. Let’s review!
OLD NEWS:
I had an infection of some sorts (no idea what) and my body was attacking it rather than my MS. In turn, this allowed my MS symptoms to surface. Mine did so in the form of taking away my ability to walk.
They ran a CT scan and found I have a blood clot in one of my lungs. I am on IV blood thinners (in pill form for the next few months).
I am having plasma exchange (PLEX) this morning and chemotherapy this afternoon.
NEW NEWS:
My neurologist called late yesterday afternoon. Back in April, one of my scans showed a wonky (medical term) darker lymph node near my esophagus. It appeared again in my newest scan a little more darker and wonky. So now, they are considering a biopsy on Friday.
In order of appearance we have Multiple Sclerosis > Infection > Blood Clot > Biopsy > Home > Work > NYC Vacation
Now the BEST NEWS:
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) was a complete snoozefest. Those women couldn’t be more odious, pretentious self-absorbed and oblivious if their lives depended on it.
The real action, fighting, name-calling, judgement, trash and overall bitchiness lies with a little show called The Real Housewives of Dubai (RHOD {not to be confused with the aborent, catty, boring and ridiculous Real Housewives of Dallas}).
That was probably one of the best hours of trash TV I have seen in a very long time. At one point these ladies were on a boat throwing a party. Half of me wanted the boat to overturn. The other half of me felt bad about the first half’s thought and decided I would throw and handful of life preservers to them (they would have to learn to share). The last half (yes, I know that’s three halfs) was so disgusted and entertained there no way I was turning the channel.
If I could have locked my hospital door so I wouldn’t be disturbed, I WOULD HAVE!
But I digress…I could use some prayers, thoughts, positive vibes and good juju from my possums to get me well and get out of the hospital and back at my home.
Anyhoozle, Have a wonderful day. Everybody - be nice people!
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
