HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Time to kickoff another work week. And what a great way to start than with Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is not just for two people in love, but for friends who love each other (I stole that from Joseph Andrade page but it holds very true.)
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone who has made a difference in my life and anyone I have helped in any way, shape or form. Happy Valentine’s day to my Mom and Dad who are here with me this week. (Yes, they arrived safe and sound). To my friends near and far, thank you for your constant love and support, this day is for you.
As you are well aware, I have Multiple Sclerosis. It has not made my life easy, but I cannot complain. There are so many others that are far worse off than I am. While I live alone, work full time and drive occasionally, there are many people behind the scenes that help me every day as well.
I do not know how my MS is going to progress or what treatments lie ahead. I do know this. Two years ago I could walk freely and now I use a walker and a wheelchair. Two years ago I took vitamins, today I take 18 pills every day to keep me from having muscle spasms and controlling my neuropathy.
I do not wish this disease on anyone and I know we need a cure. Today, on Valentine’s day (and the day before pay day for some - yes, I have no shame), please help me raise money to find a cure. It’s going to be a gorgeous day in Dallas today - sunny and a high of 73. I only have two meetings today. Not sure what Mom and dad are going to get into.

...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
