And just like that…it’s the last day of the three-day weekend. Where did it go? It’s a sunny day in Big D with a high of 62 degrees. Not a whole lot going on today. I have a visit from Home Health Care (the last one, I think) to check my vitals and make sure everything is still OK and…..wheelchair shopping.
Yes, it’s time to put on my big boy pants and face the facts that this is something I am going to need; not all the time, but it will make things easier. My legs work most of the time, but sometimes they don’t work the way I want them to work. The chair will take the edge off when needed. I know people will stare, so I intend to make it worth their while - HA!
