Happy Hump day! We made it half way through the week. Two more days and it’s a 3-day weekend (for some).
Spark Tank was wonderful yesterday evening. We awarded a Middle School Bank a their fee to enter a Band Contest and payment for their transportation, a High School Baseball Team some much-needed equipment and a Librarian received funds for books for a Community Pop-up Book Shop - in all, about $12K was awarded.
The kids and faculty made the presentations and they were all so good and passionate about why they were asking for the grants. I love being on this Board of Directors and I look forward to next month’s Spark Tank.
It’s another day of meetings at work. As a matter of fact, that’s all I have is meetings - 8, 9, 11, 2, 3 and 4 - yep, nothing but meetings. I am still feeling good and everything seems to be holding steady for the time being. I am anxious to see my neurologist on March 9 to find out what she has planned for me. But until then, it’s PLEX every Friday afternoon and Botox in both legs on January 31.
I had physical therapy yesterday with a new physical therapist. My regular physical therapist has the COVID. This new one was a delight - she’s all business and has the manners of a terrorist. I am quite sore today so I guess that’s a good thing. The joys of being blessed with Multiple Sclerosis.
