And just like that…the weekend is over. It’s Monday and time to kick off another work week. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Dallas, TX with high of 69.
It was the perfect weekend for staying in and lounging on the couch. I got to do that yesterday and it was fantastic. A little more rain would have been nice, but it is what it is.
My hope for a productive work week was dashed when I opened my calendar to see a lack of free time. “Death by Meeting” seems to be the appropriate theme to use to describe my week. Not all of it is work related: Two Board meetings (two different Boards), Spark Tank, physical therapy (twice), PLEX, volunteering and a new employee is starting tomorrow. 2022 has wasted no time in picking up the pace.
I am still feeling great after being released from the hospital a week ago. I am walking well. The new meds are still doing their job as well as the weekly PLEX and I am still sleeping better than I have in years. Mind you, MS still completely sucks. There are days when I feel like my body is not my own. My newest trick is spontaneous movement: my hands (some times my entire arm) will move just because it feels like it. It is not a violent movement at all. First, it was scary. Then it was funny. And now I just find it completely exhausting. However, I am lucky that I am not in any pain. Oh, the joys of being blessed with MS.

Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:

...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
