And just like that…it’s Friday. It’s the weekend. It’s colder than the butt-cheek of a seal in the arctic outside (21 degrees). I’ll be staying inside today…mostly.
This, the first full week of January 2022, has probably been the longest week in the history of weeks. Seriously! What the hell? Is anyone placing bets on if the power grid goes out?
But it is ending on a high note…albeit, a cold high nite. I have one meeting this morning, a few things I HAVE to get done for work, a follow-up Dr’s appointment with the Botox Dr (it went in my legs, people, not my face), I need to pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy, and most importantly, my housekeeper comes this morning.
While I wish I could clean my own house (said no one ever), MS prevents me from doing so. But I look at it as I am employing someone, I am contributing to the economy, I tip really well, we look at The Price is Right showcase together (she always wins), my casa will smell like peppermint by noon and it is a great way to kick off this long-awaited weekend.
