Today, my first day of vacation, will not be a day of doing nothing. I shall begin planning my birthday trip to NYC. It's time to reinstate my annual pilgrimage to the Big Apple for some shows and an over-priced (but incredibly delicious) dirty martini (or two) in the Champagne Room at the Plaza Hotel.
Plus, I need to do some research into the accessibility / seating at the theaters of the shows I want to see. On my list:
Company (Patti Lupone)
The Music Man (Hugh Jackman)
Funny Girl
To Kill a Mockingbird
Also - a Mets or Yankees game - but I don't think the schedules are out yet.
