Today is National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day which encourages us to prepare for the upcoming holidays. Get together a soap and hot water-filled bucket, disinfectant, a sponge, and a garbage bag and get busy. There may be a surprise or two found at the back of the shelves. Things are often pushed back as new food is put in the front and gets forgotten.
It is an important task. Many dread this job. I know I do which is why I have a housekeeper and she does a marleous job!

It’s Monday again and time to kick off another work week. The weekends go by so fast. It’s going to be a sunny, warm day in Big D today. We are inching towards several holidays and it is making it harder to (go to) work. Just knowing that I have a nice long vacation right around the corner (beginning with all week next week) is excruciating - I know - I know - first world problems. I am going to try my absolute best to completely disconnect from work. You would think that would be easy (as stressful as things have been lately).
