A Day in the Life of Multiple Sclerosis 111421

Good Morning from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Sunday, November 14.
Happy Birthday to:
Holiday Countdown:
11 Days until Thanksgiving
14 Days until Hanukkah
38 Days Until Winter Solstice
41 Days until Christmas
43 Days until Kwanzaa
48 Days until 2022
As the holidays approach, and people / families hit the road, National Seat Belt Day on November 14th encourages everyone to buckle up to save lives. No matter where you sit in a vehicle, wearing a seat belt is proven to save lives.
Just over 90 percent of Americans buckle up, saving an estimated 15,000 lives each year. However, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, you know, the NHTSA, 47 percent of passenger fatalities in 2017 were not restrained. Seat belts are proven to reduce the risk of serious injury and save lives.
Plus, in a lot of cities / states now, it’s “click it or ticket”!!! Regardless, buckle up and be safe if you are getting the road for the holidays. I know, I know….that sounds like a PSA on NBC - I just need a shooting star moving across the screen and “The More You Know” floating across with it - LOL.
Happy National Seat Belt Day!

Yesterday was a beautiful day - nice weather and I made it out to run a few errands. Sadly, I even did some work. Today, I think I will actually go to church instead of watching it online. I have gotten in such a habit of watching online every Sunday that I don’t even think about going - but I need to change that and actually be present - mask and all.

I may get out my Christmas decoration (singular) today, but part of me thinks it's just too soon.
What is on your schedule today?
Come join us for church this morning at 11am at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church (or online on Facebook Live). All are welcome at OLUMC.
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
