Today is National Boss’s Day. On October 16th, National Boss’s Day, also known as National Boss Day or Bosses Day, recognizes the hardworking boss overseeing the workplace. Employees across the United States show appreciation and thankfulness to their bosses. They remember their boss’s kindness and fairness throughout the year, too. (If the 16th of October falls on a weekend, then this day is celebrated on the closest working day.)
I am lucky to have a WONDERFUL Boss and Boss’s boss. They both have been so supportive and understanding through my journey with MS. They do not treat me any different and their expectations of me are no different either - but they are both kind and have big hearts and I am lucky to have them both.

It’s Friday and it’s the weekend. It’s going to be a pleasant, yet partly cloudy, day in Big D today with a high in the 70’s and dropping into the 60’s this evening. Is Fall actually approaching? I have a few things on my calendar today - a trip to UT Southwestern Hospital to get the dressing changed on my port and my port flushed, a trip to the Boardroom to get my head shaved and beard trimmed and a mani / pedi!
That’s it. That is my Friday and I am OK with that!
