A Day in the Life of Multiple Sclerosis 100121

Good Morning from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Friday, October 1.
Happy Birthday to:
Today is National Homemade Cookies Day. If you are looking for an excuse to bake some homemade cookies (or pre-mixed) look no further (hell, cookie dough is just as good). Pack them up and share them with neighbors, co-workers, and friends…..or eat them yourself (I ain’t mad at you).
Can you smell them now? Will it be peanut butter, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin (a very misunderstood, yet tasty cookie)? Whatever the recipe you mix up (or purchase), enjoy them fresh from the oven with a cold glass of milk. Family and friends can make National Homemade Cookies Day even better.

It’s October 1. Can you believe it? I cannot. The heavy-hitting holidays (Halloween (though not technically a holiday) Thanksgiving and Christmas / Hanukkah / Kwanzaa) will be here before you know it. (Columbus Day and Veterans Day will get their usual honorable mention). And we can’t forget Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Although, since the pandemic began, I think every day is Cyber Monday for a lot of people. Holiday music will begin playing in the stores and the Hallmark channel will explode with 40 new Holiday-themed movies for every walk of life.
Are you ready?
Today, I have to polish up my project for work and hand it over to the powers that be……and then start putting out the next fire waiting in the wings. I ready seeing it burning on the horizon. I think that’s the way work is going to be for a while.
Regardless, it’s Friday AND it’s raining. It looks like we are going to have rain on and off today and possibly tomorrow. This makes me happy. I do not have a lot on my schedule this weekend either (other than church on Sunday).
What’s on your schedule today?
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
