ANNOUNCEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT - Facebook and Instagram went down for 6 hours yesterday and the world as we know it did not end!
Good Morning from the Celebrity Suite of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek. Today is Tuesday, October 5.
No Birthdays on my calendar today.
Each year on October 5, people across the nation observe National Do Something Nice Day. This observance is very similar to National Random Acts of Kindness Day, which is celebrated on February 17.
It would be ideal if everyone lived their lives doing kind things on a daily basis and without thinking about it - and a lot of people do. But a lot of us get caught up in our fast-paced lifestyles. However, kindness should never be sacrificed to get ahead in the world. Kindness doesn’t require grand gestures. Though, when able, those are acceptable, too.
Kindness / being kind doesn’t cost anything!
Yesterday was a rough day - lots of meetings and work stuff, but I also had physical therapy. We did the usual exercises but yesterday, I had to stand on one leg without holding to anything.
NEWSFLASH - I can’t do it.
I did manage to walk down the hall and back using only my cane, but I cannot stand on one leg. I know that may not seem like a big deal to you, but it bothered the hell out of me all day long….still does. It's very frustrating!
I guess I have some work to do!
Just a few meetings on this, another beautiful day in Dallas and some prep for going into the office tomorrow. I haven’t been into my office since March 2019.
What do you have planned today?
Anyhoozle, I hope you all have a wonderful day and whatever you do today and every day, do it with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one! And as always:
...wear a mask
...be kind and compassionate to one another
...dance/sing/laugh it out. It might not help but it sure as hell couldn't hurt.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
