Good Morning, Possum and Happy Halloween and Happy Friday Eve. It’s been quite a busy few weeks here inDallas, TX.
Last weekend was quite the fun. Halloween parties here and there. The Big Oak Lawn Block Party (just a few blocks from casa) was Saturday night. It is a big deal. Usually several thousand people attend. There were that many this year, but it is just not like it used to be. People used to go all out with their costumes. Now, it’s just “throw on something tight, push up the boobs, show off the butt” put on some makeup or some sunglasses and you’re ‘Something’. Granted, for about 15 years, my besties and I went to New Orleans for Halloween. Now that was Halloween at it’s finest (and fun-est). LOL. Costumes galore- huge, outrageous and over-the top. It was 5 days of non-stop fun.
Of course, that was back when I had some testosterone and a waistline. But I digress.
There will be people out tights costumes as well. I may venture to and see what’s what.
