I hope all of you are having a great week. A three-day weekend is right around the corner for you to enjoy.
GENERAL UPDATE
I have been completely horrible about posting lately, but I hit a wall…a big, old, thick, steel and concrete MS wall. I knew it would happen sooner or later and I fought it every step of the way - as hard as I could, but I had to acquiesce. That wall was fatigue. I have been through a period of having little-to-no energy and not wanting to do anything for a week or so - it’s a typical MS symptom called MS Fatigue - google it. I have not had the pleasure of experiencing it until now.
I new what it was, I just could’t do a lot about it. It was NOT depression. I wasn’t depressed. I did Not want to hurt myself or anyone else (although I may have wanted a few select individuals to go live on Jupiter - and still do), I just had no energy and it had to pass on its own. It tends to occur in the early morning and worsen as the day progresses. This has contributed significantly to me not posting daily.
I am happy to say that I have come out on the other side of that crap and I am on my way back to being delightful, perky, and basket of puppies and a ray of sunshine 24/7. So YAY ME!
I woke up ready to conquer to world today and I have got the energy to do it (right now) so let me finish this post and I’m out the door to run some errands.
PODCAST
Thanks to everyone for listening. We are having a blast with and appreciate all your words of encouragement and we are grateful for all our downloaders, viewers and listeners. The show is on hiatus for two weeks and will return on June 3, 2024. Season One will come to a close on June 24. We are taking a break for the summer and will return for Season Two on September 9, 2024.
Season 2 will include Over It/Obsessed With It, a few new segments, Olympics Review, College Football, Halloween Stuff, Thanksgiving Stuff, December Holiday Stuff and more great guests…please come back and join us.
Medically Speaking
I am still riding high on my latest MRI results:
“MRIs are stable with some areas showing improvement. No new lesions. This is great news!”
Walking is still an issue but I can do so much more than I used to be able to.
Social Security
Social Security seems to be moving forward - FINALLY. I received a call from them letting me know the they have received all of my information and have begun to review my case.
Disability Completion Percentages: Tiny change
SSA Case Status - 82% Complete
Supplemental SSA - 75% Complete
Kankle News
I have two normal feet thanks to my knee-high compression socks I was ordered to get (see pic). I couldn’t get the plain, black, blue or white ones - BORING! If the veins and arteries on my legs need help pushing the blood up to my heart, the instrument I use will be colorful or designer. I went with colorful!
OK Possums, that’s it for today. Time for me to get some things done before the rain hits this afternoon.
