Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Monday, May 8. It’s going to be a cloudy day in Dallas with a high of around 90 degrees.
Happy Birthday to:
Good Afternoon, Possums and Happy Monday (if there is such a thing). Time too kick off another work week. It’s thundering and raining a bit outside so I don’t feel bad being unemployed as I would if it were beautiful and sunny - LOL - plus I had a very busy weekend.
Saturday, I finished up shopping for my Bestie’s Birthday. If you recall, I started last week by purchasing two shirts…..for myself. I found the cutest little slip-on shoes - and they are plaid and he really likes plaid so I got them… for me. I’m going to wear them to his party on Saturday. I think he will really like them.
Isn’t that nice of me? I’m giving him the gift of joy of seeing how happy I am en those shoes! LOL
I’m kidding. I did find his gift but I can’t say what it is here because he may be reading this. It’s hard to purchase a gift that represents ’27 years of friendship’, but that car wash had a lot of great stuff.
I finished recreating my resume. I took out the sections about running for Pope, wanting my own tv show and being on the Supreme Court (that’s a Diana Ross and the Supremes Fan Club) so I think we have a winner that will assist me in getting an interview. Getting the job is up to me… and the people I know, pay and sleep with. Again, LOL.
There are still donations coming in for my MS Walk. I am up to
$11, 550. If you have not donated but would still like to support me, please send me a message through Facebook Messenger.
Mom and Dad arrive next Tuesday for a visit. They will be here for a week. I have no idea what we are going to do, but I am available for just about anything.
I did not watch the Kentucky Derby. My left foot start swelling and getting puffy so I have been keeping it elevated as much as possible.
I did not watch the Kentucky Derby or the coronation of King Charles, however, I did watch royalty in the form of Queen Charlotte on Netflix. It is a Bridgerton story in that it details the story of Queen Charlotteii from the show, Bridgerton. It got a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes but I would give it a 99%. It is only six episodes, but I loved it and I highly recommend it.
I completely watched the entire thing - every episode. I can’t decide if I like being able to binge an entire season of a show OR if I like the shows being released one episode a week like the Great British Baking Show. Speaking of, where is the next season of the Great British Baking Show? I long to be in the big tent again,
A couple of friends and I have often joked about starting a podcast (now there’s an ideas) but I’m not sure it would work out too well. We would need the equipment, a catchy name for our show that would draw an audience in and there would be some bad language. But if you watch an hour of Yellowstone and an hour of Bridgerton every week, then you can’t say anything when my podcaster’s and I use colorful language.
OK…that’s enough from me for today. Anyhoozle, what are your plans today?
Whatever, your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!
To all of my fellow MS Warriors, keep fighting the good fight. And to all MS Warrior Supporters, Thank You! Your support means everything.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you all. -AJ
