My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 032623

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,

Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!

Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas.  Today is Thursday, March 26.  It’s going to be a sunny day with a high of 80 degrees.

Happy Belated Birthday to:

Amy Beth

Daniel Correll

Happy Birthday to:

John Horany

Randy Knight

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Sunday.  This weekend has certainly flown by quickly.  And it has been gorgeous both days.

I was able to get outside and enjoy it yesterday after I treated myself to a much-needed mani/pedi.  Man, that felt good and it was very relaxing.  After that, I enjoyed some time with the gang on a patio with a cocktail.  That, too, was relaxing and it was nice to be outside in the sun BEFORE the Texas summer sun reigns supreme over everything and either melts it or burns it to a crisp.

Today, I have church, I need to get a good bit of work completed and a little grocery shopping (online) and meal prep done because this week and the next are going to wear me out and the last thing I am going to want to do is cook...or move.  LOL

Tomorrow morning at 8am, I begin the first of five plasma exchanges (PLEX). Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week and Monday and Wednesday of the next - I go into the hospital at 7:30am and I should be out be out by 10:30am.  This should sufficiently wear my body out and put me to sleep most of next weekend (and most nights this week).

This acute round of PLEX couldn’t come at a worst time (work-wise) but I cannot really risk putting it off until July - so here we go!

I am moving around fairly well but I think it is time to start using my roller a little more.  Not out in public, but around my casa I think it would be good to start it up again.  Learning to walk again is always a joy, I just never expected to enjoy the experience repeatedly in my 50’s.  I can only imagine what awaits me in my 60’s but those experiences are 14 (dog) years away.

I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser.  In just twelve days, $5720 has been raised - 57%of my goal and two weeks left.  (It’s actually a little over $6000 or 60% of my goal. There are a few donations I need to enter in manually).

If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there is two weeks remaining until the MSWalk.

I hope I can count on your support again this year to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and sponsor me in the WalkMS.  Click the link provided below to make your online donation.  If your company matches, please indicate that as well.

If you are uncomfortable donating online and would like to send a check, please text me or send me a note through Facebook Messenger and I will send you my mailing address.

Once again, thank you for your support.  Let’s eradicate Multiple Sclerosis, if not for any other reason than it just sucks.  I kicked the fundraising off with a $500 donation.  Gotta walk that walk and talk that talk.

Anyhoozle, what are your plans today?

Whatever, your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR  day.  Do everything today with kindness in your heart.  The world is full of kind people.  If you can’t find one, be one!

To all of my fellow MS Warriors, keep fighting the good fight. And to all MS Warrior Supporters, Thank You!   Your support means everything.

Peace, Love and Blessings to you all.  -AJ
