Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Thursday, March 26. It’s going to be a sunny day with a high of 80 degrees.
Happy Belated Birthday to:
Amy Beth
Daniel Correll
Happy Birthday to:
John Horany
Randy Knight
Good Morning, Possums and Happy Sunday. This weekend has certainly flown by quickly. And it has been gorgeous both days.
I was able to get outside and enjoy it yesterday after I treated myself to a much-needed mani/pedi. Man, that felt good and it was very relaxing. After that, I enjoyed some time with the gang on a patio with a cocktail. That, too, was relaxing and it was nice to be outside in the sun BEFORE the Texas summer sun reigns supreme over everything and either melts it or burns it to a crisp.
Today, I have church, I need to get a good bit of work completed and a little grocery shopping (online) and meal prep done because this week and the next are going to wear me out and the last thing I am going to want to do is cook...or move. LOL
Tomorrow morning at 8am, I begin the first of five plasma exchanges (PLEX). Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week and Monday and Wednesday of the next - I go into the hospital at 7:30am and I should be out be out by 10:30am. This should sufficiently wear my body out and put me to sleep most of next weekend (and most nights this week).
This acute round of PLEX couldn’t come at a worst time (work-wise) but I cannot really risk putting it off until July - so here we go!
I am moving around fairly well but I think it is time to start using my roller a little more. Not out in public, but around my casa I think it would be good to start it up again. Learning to walk again is always a joy, I just never expected to enjoy the experience repeatedly in my 50’s. I can only imagine what awaits me in my 60’s but those experiences are 14 (dog) years away.
I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just twelve days, $5720 has been raised - 57%of my goal and two weeks left. (It’s actually a little over $6000 or 60% of my goal. There are a few donations I need to enter in manually).
If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there is two weeks remaining until the MSWalk.
I hope I can count on your support again this year to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and sponsor me in the WalkMS. Click the link provided below to make your online donation. If your company matches, please indicate that as well.
If you are uncomfortable donating online and would like to send a check, please text me or send me a note through Facebook Messenger and I will send you my mailing address.
Once again, thank you for your support. Let’s eradicate Multiple Sclerosis, if not for any other reason than it just sucks. I kicked the fundraising off with a $500 donation. Gotta walk that walk and talk that talk.

Anyhoozle, what are your plans today?
Whatever, your day holds and whatever your plans may be, I wish you all a SPECTACULAR day. Do everything today with kindness in your heart. The world is full of kind people. If you can’t find one, be one!
To all of my fellow MS Warriors, keep fighting the good fight. And to all MS Warrior Supporters, Thank You! Your support means everything.

Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Today is Friday, March 24, 2023. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Dallas with a high of 72.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas and Happy Friday, Happy FriYAY, TGIF and Happy Weekend. It’s been a bit of a long week, but it’s over now.
How are you? I had occupational therapy this morning and it was OK - over quickly and I came home to get some work done. I have got quite a bit to accomplish.
Surprisingly, after hearing from mu neurologist yesterday, I slept ALL NIGHT LONG! 7 hours. She should call more often. So the plan is the do an acute round of PLEX (plasma exchange) next Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the following Monday and Wednesday and then we will start from there.
She told my yesterday that she was not really impressed with the results of my MRI and I quickly told her she didn’t have to be insulting. LOL - she laughed and knew I was kidding. But then I told her I was gonna start the Super Model Diet - cigarettes, tic tacs and ipecac. She did not approve.
I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just one week, $5700 has been raised - 57% of my goal and two and a half weeks left.
Anyone want to get me over $6000? Only $300 away.
I hope I can count on your support again this year to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and sponsor me in the WalkMS.
If you would like to support me and make a donation, click the link provided below to make your online donation. If your company matches, please indicate that as well.

Good Morning, Possums and Happy Friday Eve. It has been a long week and I am ready for the weekend. Work is a little stressful and very busy right now and will be for some time.
I heard from my neurologist and the plan is to stay the course with my medication. That means keep taking these god-awful, but incredibly helpful steroids. Also, she wants to do an acute, 5-course round of plasma exchange. While that may or may not be helpful, I cannot just drop everything to do that. I have got to schedule it and the problem is time. When can I do it.?
I’ll figure it out - LOL
I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just eight days, $5200 has been raised - 52%of my goal and three weeks left.
If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), under three weeks remaining until the MSWalk.

No birthdays on my calendar today.
Good Afternoon, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas and Happy Tuesday.
It’s a bit of a gloomy day. Good to be working from home. I think I am taking on a bit of a cold. Then again, when your immune system is at 0%, I am lucky I don’t have something all of the time.
The news of new lesions on my t-spine was not what I had hoped for but it is the news I got. I am glad I waited until I got back from my trip to open the results of the MRI.
I have had a night to be sad so time to move on. I have work to do - tons of work to do -and $6000 more to raise to meet my goal.
I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just one week, $4006 has been raised - 40% of my goal and three weeks left.
If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there are 21 days remaining until the MSWalk.

Good Day, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas and Happy Monday. We are kicking off another work week.
When last we chatted, I was about to step on a ROCKSTAR TOUR BUS and head to Austin for the night for a friend’s birthday. Let me tell you - IT WAS AWESOME and just what I needed - to get out of town (even if only for 24 hours). I needed that. We played music and laughed and talked (and had a few adult beverages) - and couldn’t have been with a better group of people.
While I had my own hotel room, I gotta say, these men and women really look out for me - particularly getting on and off the bus, but in all parts of my life. It’s been a bit chilly so my legs were not very bendy. God truly blessed me when he put these people in my life.
We stopped at Buckee’s on the way down and decided to have a white elephant exchange - we had 15 or 20 minutes - you couldn’t spend more than $10 - so we each went in and bought a gift, got back on our way to Austin, wrapped up our gifts and drew names. It was a lot of fun and I ended up with a coffee cup that says BOUGEE!
Yesterday was kind of a thrown away day. We got back around 2pm and then I just chilled for the rest of the day - in preparation for what awaited me today.
All in all, great job, Shannon Brown and thanks for inviting me on the trip.
They say bad things happen in threes - and it is Monday. They aren’t really three BAD things (I think); just aggravating things that slightly piss me off.
#1 - My internet went out - and route/moden - I know, First World Problem, but I need it for work. It has since been repaired.
#2 - My personal assistant was supposed to start today. The agency called this morning. This individual that was selected for me quit over the weekend. But hold on - in a way this might be a blessing. There are some things I need renegotiate and get written in stone by this agency. I have a call with them tomorrow at 10am.
…and last but not least
#3 - I opened met MRI results and it showed that I now have active lesions on my t-spine. The T-Spine supports your chest and abdomen: Your thoracic spine helps stabilize your rib cage, and your rib cage, in turn, helps stabilize your thoracic spine. Together, your thoracic spine and ribcage protect your heart and lungs.
Awaiting a call from my neurologist to see what we do now! Stay tuned…
I want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just six days, $3931 has been raised - nearly 40%of my goal.
Anyone want to take me over the $4000 mark?
If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there are 21 days remaining until the MSWalk.

Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Today is Saturday, March 18, 2023. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Dallas with a high of 55.
Happy Birthday to:
Joseph Andrade
Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Happy Saturday and Happy Weekend.
This was a very busy week. I loved having mom and dad here. We got a lot done around my casa. I made it through all of my procedures successfully. Work continues to keep make and my team incredibly busy - we have a backlog of projects. Mom and Dad got home safely yesterday (it’s always a relief when people land). So I think it is time for a little fun.
It’s a good thing my friend, Tim has a birthday coming up. Good timing indeed. At noon today, I will be boarding a tour bus - no, not like a city tour bus - more like a bands’s tour bus - with 15 great friends and heading to Austin for the night to celebrate @Tim turning this many years old (I didn’t put a number in there on purpose. I not exactly sure how old he is, but I hear he will admit to 1000. LOL
Just kidding - I love you like a brother, Tim. You are a wonderful friend.
We come back tomorrow - not sure what time so my post may be late or I may just take Sunday off. This should be a fun trip to get out of town and clear my head and have fun with my friends.
I best get crack’in. I know I don’t have to take a lot and it’s only one night, however, I need to pack for MS. You probably don’t understand and I wouldn’t expect you to, but the days of throwing things in a backpack at a moments notice and leaving town aren’t over, necessarily, I just need a few extra moments so pick me up last.
I received the results of my MRI but I don't want to think about that now. I will look at them tomorrow when I get back. I want to forget all about that for the next 24 hours.
I want to thank everyone who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just three days, $2625 has been raised. That’s over 25% of my goal. If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there are 29 days remaining until the MSWalk.
I hope I can count on your support again this year to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and sponsor me in the WalkMS. Click the link provided below to make your online donation. If your company matches, please indicate that as well.

Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Today is Friday, March 17, 2023. It’s going to be a partly cloudy day in Dallas with a high of 54.
No birthdays on my calendar today.
Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. We had some rough weather yesterday evening. I hope everyone is alright this morning.
It’s Friday / FriYAY / The Weekend and it’s St. Patrick’s Day. So, Top O’ the Morning and Luck of the Irish and Blarney Stone and Potato Famine and….that’s all I got. My ancestors are/were Scottish!
Even though it is Friday, it’s a sad Friday. Mom and Dad fly home to SC this morning. I have been super spoiled with dad making breakfast most mornings. Doing it myself just doesn’t feel right. I think I would be an insult to him to even attempt it. So my choices are eat nothing or order in. LOL
It has been a busy week - plasma exchange and that god-awful MRI and occupational therapy - all of that all knocked the wind out of my sails. Sure, I didn’t have to do anything, but it takes a toll on you mentally and physically.
I have loads of new succulents which I have every intention of keeping off life support. There still a few of the original succulents that can inform the others of life in the Celebrity Suites. It’s not all champagne and caviar (or water and Miracle Grow) 24/7…until Monday when my new personal assistant starts.
Yes, it’s been a long time coming and I think it’s the right decision. The fact of the matter is I need help around my casa - cooking, cleaning, laundry, plant care, errands, appointments, getting to happy hour, getting home from happy hour and whatnot. Maybe I will finally have time to reignite my career as an international hand model. Oh, who am I kidding? Ever since that unfortunate wart-removal incident, well, the scar says it all. When I think about the financial windfall I have missed out on - endorsements, commercials - I try not to be bitter. But I digress…
I want to thank everyone who has donated to my MSWALK fundraiser. In just two days, $2250 has been raised. If you would like to make a donation / contribution and sponsor me as well as contribute to ending MS for good), there are 29 days remaining until the MSWalk.

My Life with Multiple Sclerosis 031623
Hellooooooooooooooo, Possuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuums!
Today is Thursday, March 16, 2023. It’s going to be a cloudy / rainy day in Dallas with a high of 74.
Happy Birthday to:
Lee Davenport
Good Morning, Possums, from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. It’s Friday eve. We have (nearly) completed another week successfully and entered the last half the month of March. A quarter of 2023 is nearly gone. Time is a tricky thing and travels at the speed of light…unless you’re sitting in traffic and have to pee or you are stuck in and MRI for hours and hours and hours…so I’ve been told.
Yesterday, I had occupational therapy and it was very humbling. The majority of the time was spent picking up these tiny little pins and sticking them in these holes on a wounded tablet about the size of a cheese board. I had to alternate hands.
Sounds easy enough if I had normal hands but I don’t. My hands sensory perception (?) is off. It’s gotten a little better but I don’t always know when I am touching something. For instance, I may be picking up a pencil off of the floor but when I reach down to get it, I cannot tell if I have it in my hands or not.
Opening mail, forget it. Touching paper at all, no way. For some reason, my nerves that have been damaged by multiple sclerosis translate that as discomfort, sometimes pain. Touching anything like my computer keyboard, a television remote, my computer keyboard, my computer mouse, my iPhone - sorry! My nerves damaged nerves translate that as discomfort, sometimes pain as well.
Imagine living with that every day! It’s not easy or fun but I have to power through.
I wanted to share that so you know what a day in the life of someone with Multiple Sclerosis is like. That’s how it is for me. I am not looking for sympathy or pity, but I am asking for your support to help find a cure for MS.
I hope I can count on your support again this year to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and sponsor me in the WalkMS. Click the link provided below to make your online donation. If your company matches, please indicate that as well.

Once again, thank you for your support. Let’s eradicate Multiple Sclerosis, if not for any other reason than it sucks. I have kicked the fundraising off with a $500 donation.
