Coming to you from the Celebrity Suites of the Wyndemere Condominiums on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. Today is Monday, January 30, 2023. It’s a sweltering 28 degrees in Big D today and it’s getting yucky outside. Freezing rain and sleet are in the forecast for the next few days so I’ll be staying inside.

Good Afternoon, Possums - Happy Monday. Time to kick off a new work week. I hope everyone is staying warm. It’s a little cold outside. Not to worry. I have plenty of work to do to keep me busy.
I keep waiting for the cold weather to start jacking up my legs, but nothing has affected them so far (thank goodness). Hopefully as long as I stay inside, I should be good. I may cancel my occupational therapy appointment on Wednesday morning (depending on how the roads are) but I’m gonna play that one by ear. You never know with Dallas weather if the cold stuff is really going to happen or not.
Don’t you know the local news meteorologists are loving this. They live for these weather-related events. They get more screen time. LOL
My only concern is the Texas power grid. Int is supposed to be ‘ready’ but every time the news shows a picture of it on the news or on television, it looks like it could be knocked over with the slightest wind. It’s not a real confidence-builder.
And then there are the grocery stores. You know they are having a field day. All the water is gone. The toilet paper is gone. And I bet their delivery services are going non-stop.
Oh well - ’tis the season. I am going to get back to work. Y’all stay warm.
