Good Morning, Possums. Happy Saturday and Happy Weekend. The weekend is finally here. YAY! Not a lot planned today. Just some personal maintenance at the Boardroom this morning and that’s about it.
There have been a few whispers of temps in the high 60’s the next few days and maybe even some rain. Perhaps we will have a brush with Fall this year and not go directly from Summer to Spring.
PLEX yesterday went OK but it was a bit frustrating as well. About half way through the alarm on the slurpee machine kept going off and for once it wasn’t my body being uncooperative. The blood in the machine kept bubbling up (for some reason) and shutting off. I didn’t know blood could ‘bubble up’ but there you have it. We managed to get all the way through.
It sure was good to see everyone in apheresis yesterday. I am used to seeing them every week and now it’s every other week - and that kind of sucks because I genuinely like them all very much. I think a few of them are coming to our softballl fundraiser, “MadonnaRama” so that will be fun.
I am still moving around fairly well, although yesterday, my legs were very uncooperative and were determined not to bend. Time for some botox in my calves and hammies. Sadly my botox appointment isn’t until November, but hopefully physical therapy will this week will help.
Oh well - there are people worse off than I am so I can’t complain. Just suck it up, deal with it and pray a lot.
