Good Morning, Possums, and Happy Friday, TGIF and Happy FriYAY! It’s the end of the work week and for this, I am grateful. Today, the State Fair of Texas opens, but September 2022 bids us farewell. I go into the hospital to check my blood lymphocyte levels to make sure they are high enough only to have chemotherapy knock them back down next week. But that’s OK.
Home Health came out yesterday to get things rolling. My physical Therapist comes out this morning for my evaluation - not sure when occupational therapy will evaluate me. I can’t really start anything next week - PLEX and Chemotherapy - so the next week will have to work. I’m just happy to get started.
I went outside yesterday evening with some friends. After being in the hospital for 8 days, that god-awful in-patient physical therapy place for 5 days and quarantine in my casa for an additional 10 days, it was as if Christmas came early. And to see my wonderful friends that I haven’t seen in 3 weeks, it was nothing sort of FAB-U-LOUS! God, I missed these guys!
All of the tables for the Dallas Titans Fall Fundraiser have been reserved - and in two days. Last night, I saw the design for the t-shirt for the event and it looks FANTASTIC. I cannot wait to post it and begin taking early orders.
Not much only calendar today or this weekend. I guess I will catch up on my streaming shows, enjoy the taste of Fall weather we are having and probably do a little work.
