Good Morning and Happy Terrific Tuesday. A little taste of Fall weather (this may very well be our 15 minutes of Fall) has rolled into the Metroplex. I wonder how many people have broken out their sweaters. I’m not hat’in, mind you, but I bet there are a few. LOL
That State Fair of Texas starts this Friday. The gates will be open at 10am. For three weeks, droves of people from all over Texas will stand in line for funnel cake, corny dogs, turkey legs and whatever the #1 fried concoction is this year.
I will probably not make it to the fair this year. Not because of my wheelchair, but for the close proximity of people. Chemo is going to keep me away from huge crowds until I am done with it.
It’s my next-to-last day of quarantine. I’m pretty excited about that. I have opened my balcony door once or twice but it’s not the same as actually going outside.
OK, I had better get crack’in. Lots to do at work today.
